Inspired by the unmistakable visual language of automotive emblems, CIRCULAR VW translates the geometry of the Volkswagen logo into a bold, handcrafted statement for the entrance.

The design is built around a strong circular form, with raised grey lines defining the interlocking V and W against a deep black ground. The contrast between the sculpted grey geometry and the dark field gives the piece a distinctly graphic and architectural character, while the rounded silhouette keeps the composition balanced and refined.

The inspiration comes from the Volkswagen emblem and its enduring relationship with automotive design — a symbol defined by simplicity, proportion, recognition, and precision. Reinterpreted through tufted carpet, the familiar emblem moves away from its original metallic form and becomes tactile, dimensional, and distinctly handmade.
