FERRONA draws its structure from wrought-iron garden gates and the ornamental grille work found on old European doors and balconies — the kind of ironwork built to be looked at as much as leaned on. Its repeating medallions, fan motifs, and interlacing scrollwork are lifted from metal and rebuilt in wool, a material never meant to hold a line this fine.

Each motif is hand-tufted in deep relief, carved so the pattern rises and falls under hand and light, while a thread of fine metallic gold traces every curve — visible only as it catches, never shouting for attention. The ivory ground keeps the composition quiet enough to anchor a room without competing with it.
