AGATE takes its structure from the banded veining found inside a cut and polished stone — the kind of pattern nature builds slowly, in layers, over centuries no hand could replicate directly. Long, flame-like channels move the length of the rug in loose parallel, swelling and narrowing the way mineral deposits settle unevenly through rock.

Every line is carved by hand into a single piece of ivory wool, the raised channels catching light while the recessed ground falls into shadow — so the veining reads by touch and by angle as much as by sight, shifting as you move around the room rather than staying fixed the way a printed pattern would.

Scaled generously across the floor, AGATE reads less like a rug and more like a cut section of stone laid underfoot — substantial enough to anchor a large room, quiet enough to let furniture with real material weight of its own sit comfortably on top of it.
